Jen has a comprehensive background in sales, marketing, hospitality, education, and business development. She’s been leading creative projects and teams for over 20 years and has a BA in Art History from the University of New Hampshire and an MA in Education from San Francisco State University.
Ralph Osterling
Registered Professional Forester
Ralph is Registered Professional Forester State of California #38, and a CDFF Certified Forest Stewardship Lead Professional. He has completed several technical sessions on tree evaluation and tree failure and provides consulting services for safety issues, tree protection design, construction monitoring and contractor training. His expertise is focused on wildland forestry issues, revegetation, conservation matters, land development issues, urban forestry, erosion control, and project monitoring. He provides training and environmental coordination for construction projects involving tree vigor and habitat issues.
Wendy Holland
Project Manager
Wendy’s dynamic background in Business Management, Project Management, Customer Service, and Interior Design support her role as Lead Project Manager at WSG. Wendy's shared passion of protecting our community prompted her to join the Wildfire Services team. Her strong sense of professionalism, positive attitude and commitment make her an ideal team player. Her passions include being outdoors, hiking, running, and coaching her favorite sport, lacrosse.
Brendon Holland
Associate Professor
Brendan's primary professional focus lies within conservation biology and maintenance of environmentalintegrity of natural ecosystems. Recent scientific research projects have used field survey approaches and molecular tools to understand patterns of diversification and biogeography of species that are of special concern, threatened, or endangered. Interests include elucidation and strategic mitigation of impacts to environmental threats including climate change and harmful biological invasions. He has 25 years of professional experience working with threatened and endangered species. In 2002 he lead author on a paper that defined evolutionarily significant units (ESUs) for management of endangered tree snails in the Waianae Mountains on western Oahu, the results of which are still used to guide conservation decisions for multiple lineages of plants and animals. For the next dozen years, Brendon served as a member of the research faculty at the University of Hawaii, Manoa, before joining Hawaii Pacific University in 2017.
Ben Week
Operations Manager
Ben Week has managed bridge and heavy highway construction, site construction and utility installation projects for over 10 years. As a General Manager and General Superintendent his specific experience includes land clearing and grubbing, soil and erosion control, demolition, excavation, and oversight of city and county Public Works projects.
Greg Schilz
Insurance Professional
Greg has over thirty years of experience as a specialty environmental broker and risk consultant. He is widely regarded as a thought leader in the industry and works with private equity firms and developers who need to mitigate the risk associated with their asset purchases, divestitures, and the development of Brownfield properties. He continues to develop innovative solutions for clients utilizing environmental insurance and risk management techniques. Greg advises WSG on all the current and future strategy in serving the insured in the Wildland Urban Interface.
Chris Dietz
Assistant Project Manager, CWMS
Chris is a Certified WIldfire Mitigation Specialist and a native Californian. He moved to Sonoma County from his hometown of Santa Clarita, after working a decade in the entertainment industry in LA,. Chris found his passion for the outdoors, gardening, and landscaping at the Disney Ranch where he was able to learn and fine tune his skills for several years. The beauty of wine country drew him further north in early 2015 where he was lucky to tend to a prestigious winery estate. After being directly affected by the Tubbs fire, Chris is excited to have this opportunity to help his local community prepare for the next wildfire and recover from the last.
Natalie Ludwig
Marketing Coordinator and Lead Photographer
As Marketing Coordinator, Natalie oversees social media, the website, and all company photography and videography, including drone imaging. Additionally she leads our participation in marketing events such as the Sonoma County Earthquake & Safety Expo in Cloverdale, CA and Ember Stomp in Marin County, CA. Natalie supports field operations through tracking, reporting, and planning. Natalie was born and raised in Sonoma County, went to college in Flagstaff, Arizona and has been actively involved in photography and videography for about 12 years. After 2 years of college study in Photograph, she moved to Hawaii and began to explore Social Media and Marketing creation. She enjoys working with a team and creating content to show what Wildfire Services Group can do for our community. In her free time she likes to spend time training her border collie Billy, and sailing.
Asher Holland
Field Supervisor
Asher was born and raised in Healdsburg. He is one of our great field supervisors who has an appreciation for tree felling. He started working in the field a few years ago. Asher is a great learner as well as teacher which makes him a great team player in the field. He picks tips and tricks up quickly and he is now learning how to partake in “Home Hardending” maintenance.
